You can browse, book and manage your courses through the CPD at Leeds course catalogue. 

The FAQs below cover common questions about creating an account, booking a course and accessing your learning. If you can't find the anser you're looking for, please contact the CPD at Leeds team.

Frequently Asked Questions 

How do I sign up for a course?

  • Browse the course catalogue and select Enrol or Join Waiting List.
  • If you join a waiting list, enter your details and wait for further information about availability.
  • If you enrol directly, you'll be taken to your shopping basket.
  • In your basket, you can:
    • purchase places for multiple learners
    • enter a voucher code
    • add additional courses.
  • When you're ready, select Checkout.
  • Sign in to an existing account or select Create Account and follow the instructions.
  • Review your order and payment details, then select Proceed to complete your booking.

Has my payment gone through?

Sign in to your account and go to My Account > Order History to check the status of your purchase.

You should also receive a confirmation email once your booking has been completed successfully.

What is my username?

Your username is the email address you used to create your account.

How do access my course?

Once your course is available, you'll receive information about how to access your learning.

To begin learning, sign in to learn.leeds.ac.uk using the account details you created when booking.

Why can't I access my course?

If your course has a fixed start date, it may appear in your list of courses before access becomes available.

Please check:

  • the course start date
  • any emails we've sent you
  • your Spam, Junk or Deleted Items folders.

How do I reset my password?

How do I reset my password?

  1. Go to learn.leeds.ac.uk.
  2. Select Forgot your password?
  3. Enter the email address associated with your account.
  4. Select Submit.

A password reset email will be sent to you.

If you don't receive the email, please check your Spam or Junk folder and ensure you've entered the correct email address.

How do I use learn.leeds.ac.uk?

CPD at Leeds uses the Brightspace learning platform.

A range of learner guides, videos and tutorials are available to help you get started and make the most of your learning experience.
